Neck and Back

Back Supports, Posture Braces and Cervical Collars

Explore lower-back compression supports, abdominal binders, upper-back and posture braces, pregnancy supports and soft cervical collars. Each style provides support for a particular area, so consider where you need support and how the product will be used.

Lumbar and abdominal support

Lumbar supports such as the DonJoy Conforstrap and ProCare ComfortForm add compression around the lower back and sacrolumbar region. Abdominal binders wrap the abdomen and may be recommended after certain procedures, while pregnancy supports are shaped to provide support during pregnancy.

Posture and neck support

Upper-back and posture braces provide external support and a gentle reminder to change position. They work best as part of a broader approach that may include movement, strengthening and ergonomic changes. A soft cervical collar provides mild support and limits some neck movement. If neck pain follows a collision, fall or other trauma, arrange a medical assessment.

A comfortable, secure fit

Use the size chart for the exact product and follow any clinician-set wear schedule. A brace should feel secure without restricting breathing, causing numbness or creating pressure points. Seek prompt medical advice for pain after significant trauma, pain travelling down an arm or leg, new numbness or weakness, or changes to bladder or bowel control.
